New Member Review / Mid-Semester Checkpoint

New Member Ed Check-Ins

  • Throughout the semester, there will be occasional reviews and check-ins, and one formal mid-semester checkpoint. Occasional reviews and check-ins should be completed by the New Member Educators

    • The new member reviews and check-ins are a time for new members to voice questions or concerns with the New Member Educators. The New Member Educators should make note of what they are hearing from the new members and relay the information to the VP of Membership, where necessary.

Formal Mid-Semester Checkpoint

  • A formal mid-semester checkpoint should be conducted by the VP of Membership. The VP of Membership should align with both the New Member Educators and the rest of the executive board on what the goal of the check-in is.

  • You might consider creating a rubric to follow when conducting the checkpoint. Some chapters choose to do the review as a whole. For more information on how to conduct this, reach out to your PGN Nationals contact.
