Pricing
We understand that pricing can be confusing and we want to be as transparent as possible. Every member is required to pay PGN Nationals dues each semester, which includes this onboarding semester. This money goes towards expansion costs, organizational management, funding the annual National Convention, chapter development, alumni engagement, and more.
When starting your chapter, the two main fees you and the founding class are responsible for are:
PGN Onboarding coaching course: $300 Total (one-time).
Founding Member Class pays $80 per person. The Executive Board pays $55 per person (the renewing member fee) since the $300 onboarding fee was already paid to start the chapter by the E-board.
After you are a fully recognized chapter, in Phase III, your chapter will continue to pay dues on a semester basis. Each semester, every member will pay both a chapter fee + the national fee. The amount paid to the chapter is determined by your board, but can range from $30 to $180 per person. The cost you charge is at the discretion of your chapter - and most schools vary based on chapter goals.
At the National level, our pricing is determined by your membership status.
New members pay $80
Renewing members pay $55
Each Spring semester, in honor of PGN's birthday, we collect "birthday pennies" which go to a separate fund. Our separate fund is the The PGN Scholars Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is used to help support the philanthropic and professional development efforts of PGN members.
We collect one penny per year, per member, since PGN's founding in 1924. So in 2025, PGN will turn 101 and we will collect $1.01 per member. Through this foundation, all chapters and PGN members can request grants to further professional or philanthropic efforts.
Key Takeaways:
