Here is an example of pitching PGN:
PGN is a professional development organization that is focused on our 3 pillars of philanthropy, social, and professionalism. For our members, it's all about the family aspect. We work hard to improve each other’s professional skills, such as resume building, but we also all hang out for movie nights. My favorite part of the organization is getting to spend time with other members, they truly are my family here at school. If you’re interested in attending recruitment, our events are next week and we have an event for each of our pillars, hope to see you there!

One of the most important aspects of recruitment is how you pitch PGN. This is something that you'll do at every table, recruitment event, and job interview. Being able to articulate what you enjoy about PGN is how you'll get people interested in being a part of it.
Think of your PGN pitch as a 30 second elevator pitch that you've given about yourself at a career fair. You want to be sure to hit certain topics, have a personal aspect, and your recruitment dates / events. Overall, you want to convey to a potential new member why PGN is a great organization to join and how it can benefit them. On an additional note, everyone's pitch is going to be different based upon what you enjoy about PGN.
