There are two types of grants that the PGN Scholars Foundation provides for students - individual and organizational. 

Individual Grants

Individual Grants are provided to support the professional or philanthropic endeavors of a PGN member. Active PGN Members in good standing may apply for an individual grant from the Scholars Foundation.

Applicable individual grant use cases can include the following:

  1. Study Abroad 

  2. Application or ticket fee for a professional development program, training, or conference

  3. Financial assistance for National dues or books

Organizational Grants

Organizational Grants are provided to support the professional or philanthropic endeavors of a PGN Chapter. Active PGN Chapters in good standing may apply for an organizational grant from the Scholars Foundation. 

Applicable organizational grant use cases can include the following:

  • Crisis Prevention Training

    • First Aid Training

    • Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention

    • Anti-Hazing and Campus Safety Workshops

  • Leadership Development Training

    • Team Building

    • Gallup Strengths Finder

    • Bias / Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Training

    • Mediation Skills

    • Managerial Skills

  • Chapter Professional Development

    • Corporate Visits

    • Professional Speaker / Logistical Funding

  • Chapter Philanthropic Causes

    • Priority Areas Include: Workforce Preparedness, Entrepreneurship, DE&I

      • Direct donations to charity / philanthropy

      • Reimbursements for philanthropy event expenses

      • Training
