There are two types of grants that the PGN Scholars Foundation provides for students - individual and organizational.
Individual Grants
Individual Grants are provided to support the professional or philanthropic endeavors of a PGN member. Active PGN Members in good standing may apply for an individual grant from the Scholars Foundation.
Applicable individual grant use cases can include the following:
Study Abroad
Application or ticket fee for a professional development program, training, or conference
Financial assistance for National dues or books
Organizational Grants
Organizational Grants are provided to support the professional or philanthropic endeavors of a PGN Chapter. Active PGN Chapters in good standing may apply for an organizational grant from the Scholars Foundation.
Applicable organizational grant use cases can include the following:
Crisis Prevention Training
First Aid Training
Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention
Anti-Hazing and Campus Safety Workshops
Leadership Development Training
Team Building
Gallup Strengths Finder
Bias / Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Training
Mediation Skills
Managerial Skills
Chapter Professional Development
Corporate Visits
Professional Speaker / Logistical Funding
Chapter Philanthropic Causes
Priority Areas Include: Workforce Preparedness, Entrepreneurship, DE&I
Direct donations to charity / philanthropy
Reimbursements for philanthropy event expenses
