WHO WE ARE

Phi Gamma Nu is a co-ed professional development organization at Purdue that welcomes students from all majors and career interests. Our chapter brings together driven individuals who support one another’s growth and success. Through our pillars of professionalism, philanthropy, and social development, members build valuable skills, serve their community, form lasting connections, and help each other grow into the leaders of tomorrow.

CHAPTER HISTORY

Founded in 1924 at Northwestern University, Phi Gamma Nu was established to support women pursuing business education and to promote scholarship, service, and high ethical standards. The organization became co-ed in 1974 and has continued to develop leaders through professionalism, philanthropy, and social connection.

OUR PILLARS

PROFESSIONALISM

Through career workshops, resume and LinkedIn development, interview preparation, networking opportunities, and mentorship, members build the skills and confidence needed to pursue their professional goals. These experiences promote leadership, academic achievement, professional competency, and career readiness.

SOCIAL

Through chapter traditions, social events, retreats, informal gatherings, and class bonding activities, members develop genuine friendships and a lasting network of support within our chapter. Together, these experiences strengthen the sense of brotherhood that defines our chapter.

PHILANTHROPY

Our members serve the Purdue and Greater Lafayette communities through volunteer opportunities, fundraising initiatives, and member-led philanthropy events. These experiences allow members to create a positive impact while developing empathy, responsibility, and service-oriented leadership.
