The first stop on Friday morning was PwC, located on the West Side of the Chicago Loop. The visit included a tour of the office and a Q&A session with PwC Associates and Managers from various practice groups. Later that afternoon, the group visited PepsiCo’s Chicago office in the historic Old Post Office building. Members toured the renovated space and learned about PepsiCo’s diverse portfolio of brands and how they are reflected in the office’s design and layout.
The final visit of the trek was to Bain & Company. Alongside other University of Michigan organizations, members heard from a Partner who spoke about his 20-year journey with the firm. The visit also included a tour and time for PGN members to connect with alumni and gain insights into how PGN influenced their professional development and recruiting experiences.
The day concluded with a PGN Nationals Alumni Event, where members—ranging from seniors to new initiates—had the opportunity to network with alumni from PGN chapters across the country. The Chicago Office Trek proved to be a valuable experience for the University of Michigan chapter, offering insights into diverse career paths and expanding their professional network.
