Exploring Diverse Industries

Throughout the trip, members visited several organizations representing key sectors of the economy. The chapter toured Nissan and its manufacturing plant, where students learned about operations, supply chain management, manufacturing processes, and corporate leadership within the automotive industry.

Members also visited HCA Healthcare to gain exposure to the healthcare sector and better understand the wide range of business functions that support one of the nation's largest healthcare organizations.

The final company visit took place at Nashvox Studios, offering students a behind-the-scenes look at the music production industry and the business operations that help support artists and creative professionals.

Connecting with Alumni and Industry Leaders

In addition to company visits, members participated in a networking event with Ohio State alumni living and working in Nashville. The event provided an opportunity for students to build professional relationships, hear firsthand career experiences, and learn more about opportunities available after graduation.

By connecting with alumni across different industries, members gained valuable perspectives on career development, professional growth, and the transition from college to the workforce.

Building Career Readiness Through Experience

The Nashville trek allowed members to engage directly with experienced professionals, ask questions about career paths, and explore industries they may not have previously considered. These conversations helped students identify areas of interest while developing a broader understanding of today's professional landscape.

PGN Ohio State is grateful to PGN Nationals for making this opportunity possible. Through experiences like the Nashville Professional Development Trek, the chapter continues to provide students with meaningful opportunities for career exploration, alumni engagement, and professional growth beyond the classroom.

As a leading student organization focused on professional development, PGN remains committed to helping Ohio State students build the skills, connections, and experiences needed to succeed in their future careers.
