Our Leaders

Eva Onambele,
President

Major: Financial Economics

Eva is a junior studying Financial Economics at Columbia College. She is from Yaoundé, Cameroon. and enjoys playing golf, watching criminal shows, traveling, spending time with her friends, and exploring the city. Greatly interested by the role companies play in a country's development and welfare, Eva is interested in pursuing a career in impact investing. She is excited to expand the PGN community at Columbia and Barnard.

Matthieu Le,
Vice President of External Affairs

Major: Financial Economics

Matthieu is a senior studying Financial Economics in the dual degree program between Columbia University and Sciences Po. He is originally from Paris, France, and grew up in Seattle, WA. He enjoys swimming, travelling, enjoying dinner around a table of friends and discovering new parts of New York. He is also involved on campus with the Columbia Consulting Group and the French Cultural Society. Matthieu is excited to help develop the strong network that PGN prides itself in and looks forward to bringing new great opportunities to PGN members and community!

Reda Shaikh,
Vice President of Internal Affairs

Major: Economics and Mathematics

Reda is a junior from San Jose, California, studying Economics and Mathematics with a minor in Art History at Barnard College. She is a Bridgewater Associates New Pathways program scholar and a Barnard Student Admissions Representative. Additionally, she is involved with the Columbia Women's Alliance of Venture & Equity. Reda plans to enter the quantitative finance industry with a focus on alternative investments. She is excited to foster growth and community on campus in her role as VP Internal.

Brian Villalta,
Vice President of Finance

Financial Economics and Applied Statistics

Brian is a junior studying Economics and Applied Statistics. He is from Stamford, Connecticut, and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. With his future professional experience, Brian hopes to one day start an initiative to make it easier for young students in underrepresented communities to find out about and pursue career-oriented opportunities. He is looking forward to starting the Epsilon Lambda chapter of PGN at Columbia with the rest of the Alpha class.

Arpita Saha,
Vice President of Communications

Major: Civil Engineering

Arpita is a junior at Columbia Engineering studying Civil Engineering with a minor in Sustainable Engineering. She is from Queens, New York and enjoys reading, trying new cuisines, and exploring the city. On campus, she is part of Engineers Without Borders and is a tour guide for the Undergraduate/Engineering Recruitment Committee. Arpita wants to explore the intersection between engineering, urban planning, and business to create sustainable infrastructure. She is very excited to serve as VP Communications and help PGN expand further.

Paolamarie Concepcion,
Vice President of Membership

Major: Economics

Paolamarie is a junior at Barnard College majoring in Economics. A true New York City local, she enjoys walking in the park, exploring new restaurants, and visiting any bookstore possible. Paolamarie hopes to enter the business role in the area of Human Resources, or Administrative Professional, which is why PGN is such an amazing fit! She is thrilled to start her role as VP Membership for PGN at Columbia!
