2025 ‘I Am PGN’ Award Winner: Elizabeth Mann
Illinois State University
Class of 2025
“PGN’s values have become a part of who I am. Being surrounded by such a diverse group of people opened my eyes early on to how much you can learn by simply listening to others’ experiences and perspectives. It made me more understanding, more open-minded, and a better friend and teammate. Integrity was something PGN always emphasized, and over time, it became second nature to hold myself to a higher standard — not because someone was watching, but because I wanted to be someone others could trust and rely on. And the entrepreneurial spirit is something I found within myself through PGN by the idea that it’s okay to take risks, chase what you believe in, and keep going even when it’s hard. These values didn’t just stay within PGN, they shaped the way I approach life, and I truly believe they helped me make a real impact on the people and communities around me.”
